Technical developments, new requirements, and increasingly complex applications are making in-depth expertise in drive and control technology more important than ever. With the Becker Academy, Becker-Antriebe supports its specialist partners in continuously expanding their knowledge and applying it confidently in their day-to-day work. In the second half of 2026, the Academy will once again offer a wide range of practical training courses – from seminars for qualified electricians to drive and control technology, as well as radio technology and smart home solutions.

At the company's headquarters in Sinn, participants benefit from a modern training center with more than 400 square metres of space, hands-on workstations, and an extensive exhibition area. Following the Fensterbau Frontale trade fair, the exhibition was updated with the presentation walls showcased at the event, ensuring it reflects the latest technologies and products. This allows participants to experience a wide range of Becker solutions firsthand while directly linking theoretical knowledge with practical applications – providing the ideal foundation for consulting, planning, installation, and service.

“Quality, for us, does not end with the development and production of our sustainable products. It is equally important to support our specialist partners with sound expertise so that consultation, planning, and on-site installation can be carried out to the highest possible standard,” explains Julian Wiegelmann, Head of the Becker Academy.

The Becker Academy’s training courses therefore cover a wide range of topics – from the fundamentals of drive and control technology and Becker radio technology to smart home applications and seminars for electrically instructed persons carrying out defined activities.

More than training: connecting, networking, and learning together

Especially the multi-day training courses, such as the qualification program for electrically instructed persons carrying out defined activities, offer participants far more than in-depth technical knowledge. A varied evening program ensures there is plenty of opportunity for personal interaction and networking. Activities are deliberately different for each course and range from shared dinners and sporting or cultural events to unique regional experiences. This allows participants to get to know one another outside the classroom, build valuable professional connections, and grow together as a group. This personal exchange creates an enjoyable learning environment while strengthening collaboration and fostering lasting professional relationships among participants.
