Thanks to state-of-the-art software, Becker’s engineers have succeeded in implementing sensitive obstacle detection in this application involving a flexible fabric. In addition, the intelligent drive system ensures that the fabric is always kept taut and that natural changes in length are compensated for. Furthermore, a fabric tension relief function can be activated to prevent the sensitive fabric from being subjected to unnecessary strain.

This drive sets new standards for ZIP screen automation: thanks to state-of-the-art software, Becker engineers have successfully implemented sensitive obstacle detection for this application involving flexible fabric. Additionally, the drive’s intelligent system ensures the fabric remains taut and compensates for natural changes in length.
