Becker-Antriebe at FENSTERBAU FRONTALE 2026: Smart controls, new drive solutions and sustainable automation in the spotlight
Nuremberg, 24–27 March 2026 – When the international window, door and façade industry comes together for FENSTERBAU FRONTALE 2026 in Nuremberg, Becker-Antriebe GmbH will once again be there. On an exhibition area of around 100 m² in Hall 7, Stand 322, the drive specialist will be presenting new products and proven solutions for roller shutter and sun protection applications.
Trade fair highlight: CentralControl CC11 with the new Be:You app
The new CentralControl CC11 is at the heart of Becker’s trade fair presence. This compact plug-in solution enables local control of roller shutters and sun protection – without an additional control unit and without an internet connection. Once plugged in and set up, the CC11 reliably handles day-to-day control: time programmes are configured once and then run automatically.
If needed, you can still intervene manually at any time – conveniently via smartphone using the new Be:You app. Particularly attractive for specialist retailers: commissioning is carried out entirely via Bluetooth®, with no USB sticks or internet connection required. The focus is therefore on plug & play, fast installation and robust local control.
The Be:You app is Becker’s new end-user app. In future, it will bundle all key functions and previous apps into a single interface, so users will only need one central app for their Becker solutions.
Future-proof with Matter-enabled drives
At the trade fair, Becker will also be showcasing a Matter-enabled drive. Matter is a cross-manufacturer connectivity standard for smart home devices, developed by major companies such as Apple, Google, Amazon and Samsung. Its goal is to connect devices from different brands easily and securely.
Communication takes place via the local IP network, allowing products from different manufacturers to work together seamlessly and reliably. For specialist companies and end users, this means greater flexibility in choosing systems and a significantly simplified integration into existing smart home environments.
New E29 roller shutter drive: flexibly adaptable, quick to install, ready for building control
Another highlight at the trade fair is the new E29 roller shutter drive, which Becker has developed specifically for window manufacturers and system providers. The drive features electronic limit switch-off and, thanks to a clip-on connection part on the motor head side, offers a wide range of adaptation options.
In combination with fixed shaft connectors, the system operates on a plug & play basis with any installation sequence and automatic end position correction, but it can also be installed with springs. An optional freeze protection function and a pluggable cable also ensure that the drive can be integrated into modern building concepts particularly quickly, flexibly and safely.
SolarKit with CentronicPlus wireless: sustainable control with feedback
Becker is also presenting the further development of the SolarKit. In future, the solution will be available with CentronicPlus wireless technology and therefore with status feedback. Sustainability is the key energy priority of our time – with the SolarKit, Becker offers the option of operating roller shutters or screens using solar power.
Installation requires no additional power line, and the energy efficiency is impressive: with a single battery charge, the shutter can be opened and closed more than 50 times without recharging; thanks to the solar panel, however, the battery is continuously recharged. Communication with the transmitter takes place wirelessly, so there is no need to lay any cables.
New controllers and sensors: TC72, SC631 PLUS and VC180 PLUS
Becker is using the trade fair to present a range of new controllers and sensors:
- The new wired TC72 time switch controls roller shutter, privacy and sun protection systems in both residential and commercial applications. It can be commissioned either directly on the device or conveniently via Bluetooth using a free app, which enables intuitive configuration. Preset switching times make the TC72 ready for immediate use, and up to ten switching times per day can be programmed. The integrated astronomical function automatically adjusts switching times to sunrise and sunset. A twilight function, optionally combinable sun and wind sensors, a large illuminated display, automatic summer/winter time changeover and a holiday mode for presence simulation round off the feature set.
- With the Solar window-mounted light sensor SensorControl SC631 PLUS, Becker is redefining smart home automation. The sensor uses the CentronicPlus wireless system with modern routing technology: every registered device can act as a repeater, increasing range and reliability. Bidirectional radio communication allows the current status to be queried via a gateway (e.g. CC41 or homee).
Thanks to the integrated solar module, there is no need to replace batteries. Alternatively or additionally, it can be charged via USB-C. Reusable adhesive pads ensure easy installation and flexible repositioning on the window pane. An e-paper display enables convenient settings, and the sensor supports both Centronic and CentronicPlus, distributing its measurement values efficiently within the CentronicPlus mesh. - New to the range is the VC180 PLUS wireless socket. It features a modern design and is now equipped with CentronicPlus wireless technology. This allows connected devices to be conveniently integrated into existing Becker radio systems – ideal also as a range extender to increase network coverage in CentronicPlus installations.
SMI 3.0: Setting new standards in building automation
In the field of professional building control, Becker demonstrates how SMI 3.0 is setting new standards. All SMI drives for roller shutters, privacy and sun protection, as well as the associated KNX/SMI actuator, are available with the latest SMI 3.0 certification. The Standard Motor Interface (SMI) ensures that building automation components communicate in a common language – enabling manufacturer-independent, future-proof planning instead of isolated solutions.
With SMI 3.0, the specifications have been expanded: the solution offers backward compatibility with previous versions, standardized properties for easier commissioning and maintenance, more robust hardware and new features, such as support for speed-controlled drives and optimised blind control.
The 16-channel KNX/SMI actuator with Bluetooth interface enables fast configuration via app; up to 16 drives can be connected in parallel and controlled with precise angle positioning.
BoxCTRL and FRITZ!Box: roller shutter control via router
With the BoxCTRL receivers, Becker presents a solution that turns the widely used FRITZ!Box into a smart home control centre for roller shutters. BoxCTRL uses the DECT-ULE-HAN-FUN wireless standard to integrate roller shutters directly into the home network without the need for a separate smart home base station. Operation is flexible via the FRITZ!App Smart Home, optional wireless switches (e.g. FRITZ!Smart 440), FRITZ!Fon or wired push-buttons using common switch ranges. This makes it easy to retrofit modern automation – especially in existing buildings.
Proven solutions for demanding applications
In addition to the many new products, Becker also has proven solutions in its portfolio:
- Roller shutter and sun protection solutions, e.g. for particularly narrow window applications
- the EVO CentronicPlus roller shutter drive series with particularly quiet operation
- high-performance drives for ZIP applications, which are particularly in demand in modern sun protection systems
More specialised fields of application – such as professional building control with SMI 3.0 or router-based control with BoxCTRL – demonstrate how flexibly Becker solutions can be integrated into a wide variety of projects.
